This Privacy Policy explains how Fitle collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app.

1Who we are

Fitle ("Fitle," "we," "us," "our") is a mobile fitness application operated by Andrii Kuts Mobile Inc., a company based in British Columbia, Canada. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@getfitle.com. Our privacy contact is [Name / role, if appointed].

2Information we collect

We may collect account and authentication information, profile and fitness information, workout plans, workout history, exercise feedback, app usage events, diagnostic information, and technical device information needed to operate the app. If you use community features, we also collect the content you share in a circle (see below).

3HealthKit

If you grant permission, the app may read selected Apple Health and HealthKit data to show daily activity and personalize workout recommendations. The app may also write completed workouts to Apple Health. HealthKit access is optional and can be changed in Apple Health or iOS Settings. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising and do not sell HealthKit data.

4Photos and notifications

If you add a profile photo, the app uses the photo you select. If you enable workout reminders, the app may request permission to send local notifications. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.

5Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card number or banking details. We may receive purchase status information from StoreKit to provide premium access.

6How we use information

We use information to create and manage your account, provide workout plans, personalize recommendations, save progress, sync supported data, provide premium features, send reminders if enabled, operate community features (such as circles), analyze app performance, fix bugs, keep the app and its community safe, and comply with legal obligations.

7Community & what others see

Fitle is built around small groups called circles. When you join a circle and use community features, certain information is visible to the other members of that circle, including your display name and profile photo, your activity check-ins and streak contributions, and any messages, cheers, or reactions you post. Please share only what you are comfortable with other members seeing. Content you post may be retained by us and by other members who have seen it, and we may retain records of community activity to enforce our Community Guidelines and keep members safe.

8Sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not use personal information for third-party advertising. We may share information with service providers — such as Apple, Google, Firebase, and infrastructure providers — when needed to operate, secure, analyze, or support the app. These providers are bound to protect your information and may process it outside your country (see International transfers). We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Fitle, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

9Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the app and features you request); consent (for optional features such as notifications, and for health-related data where required — you can withdraw consent at any time); legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the app, and to keep the community safe); and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).

10Health data

Sensitive data, handled carefully

Fitness and activity information — including any HealthKit data you choose to share — can be sensitive, and in some regions it is treated as a special category of data. Where that is the case, we process it only with your explicit consent and solely to provide the features you use. You can stop sharing HealthKit data, delete entries, or delete your account at any time. We never use this data for advertising and never share it with third parties for their own purposes.

11International transfers

We are based in Canada and use service providers that may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12Storage and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the app. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information within [retention period, e.g. 30 days], unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, subscription, or legitimate business reasons.

13Your rights & choices

You can manage HealthKit permissions in Apple Health or iOS Settings, notification permissions in iOS Settings, subscriptions in App Store account settings, and account deletion from the app where available.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California users have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct personal information and to opt out of "sharing"; we do not sell personal information and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, email privacy@getfitle.com; we will verify and respond within the time the law requires.

14Children

Fitle is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country (which is 16 in some parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@getfitle.com and we will delete it.

15Security

We use technical and organizational measures — such as encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed credentials — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where required by law.

16Fitness notice

Fitle provides fitness and wellness functionality for general informational purposes only. Workout plans, exercise selections, load suggestions, progressions, and other recommendations are suggestions, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, professional coaching, or mandatory instructions. Fitle is not a medical device and is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have injuries, pain, pregnancy, disability, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke history, or any other health concern.

17Changes & contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Fitle evolves and will post the new effective date here; for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Questions or requests: privacy@getfitle.com.
